The principal sign, 4 foot square, was fabricated from a sheet of .75” thick plate glass. We converted a portrait painted by Jean Seidenberg into a stochastic screened, bitmapped image, and then had it sandblasted into the rear face of the glass. When viewed against a dark background, the sandblasted dots are the highlights.
