A New York not-for-profit organization, dedicated to advocacy for people with disabilities, used the occasion of their 25th anniversary to reevaluate their identity. Our work began with restructuring their acronym, from CIDNY (pronounced Sydney) - to CID • NY (pronounced C-I-D, N-Y), a distinction that signals their commitment to the people of New York.
