The entrance foyer. A soft new color palette is introduced - oak strip flooring has replaced the original parquet and a pale apricot colored Tibetan wool and silk carpet added. The hall table and mirror were designed for the Client in the late 1950s by the New York decorator, David Wider. A pair of French rock crystal obelisks illuminate pieces of 18th century Chinese jade.
