Because the original bathroom fittings were intact, the decision was made to do only minor restoration, focusing instead on aspects of decorative treatment - lemon yellow paint, a new halogen wall sconce, the gauzelike drapes, and, just visible in the reflection of the mirror, a rope-wrapped, exposed heating pipe.
