Prior to demolition, a wall bisected the apartment, running through the free-standing column. Two entry doors stood side by side, leading into separate units. A single door was salvaged and centered in the new space. A pair of walk in closets were created, with French doors fitted with frosted glass inserts that allow them to serve as a source of illumination for the Foyer.
