The material palette of the principal bedroom was chosen as a progression of light colored materials - pale gray lacquer and white oak veneered millwork, off-white carpet, upholstery, and drapery. Even the curve of the headboard was softened, so as not to compete with the spectacular views from the four windows, looking east and south over Central Park.
