A grand “arch” signals the transition from the Foyer into the Living Room.  Tiffany lamps sit on the hall table, foreground left, complimented by a small collection of Favrile glass pieces on the biblioteque by Emile Gallé at right.  The colorful painting at left is by Wolf Kahn, the lithograph of a courtesan at right by Henri Matisse.  The Farahan carpet was a family heirloom.
