The library table, designed by the architect. The wedge shape of the legs echo that of the piers flanking the fireplace - further articulated by the inlay of leather into the writing surface. A continuous edge pull of polished brass adds a glint of flash to this otherwise subtle combination. The sculpture is by Mitzi Cunliffe.
