The pair of fluted cylindrical end tables, following their restoration - shown here in the workshop of Miguel Saco, New York.  Designed in the late 1950s by David Wider, a New York interior decorator, the piece was veneered in satinwood, and finished with a high gloss, hand rubbed French lacquer.  As clearly evident in this photo, Saco has restored both pieces to their original splendor.
