Over two weeks passed before the Owners were allowed to return to their home - and then only with special permission for a single day.  During this time, the fetid waters receded, but the combination of dampness, high ambient temperatures, and lack of circulating fresh air provided a perfect environment for the growth of mold, mildew, and spores, as clearly evident in this photo.
