Traditionally, architects learned to draw as a means of exploring new ideas, or recording something for future reference. From an early age, I replaced my pencil with a camera, and filled portfolios with the images/memories of people, places, or things once seen. Sometimes, these photographs can transport us back to an earlier time and place, or forward, into unexplored territories.
