   Plan

In 2002, the building was a dilapidated shell, abandoned for years.  The Client, an investor who served as his own General Contractor, sought to enlarge it with the intent of using the lower floors as his home and renting the upper levels.  A significant modern extension to the rear signaled the gut renovation, while the street facade was restored to exacting standards, in keeping with the fabric of the historic neighborhood.
